St. Paul Lutheran Church

St. Paul Lutheran is a church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).  The congregation was organized in 1927 and has since served the Hampton community.  As Lutherans we live and trust in God's grace, give thanks for the gift of faith, and use our gifts and passions to serve our neighbors in the name of Jesus. For more information about our churchwide organization, please visit www.elca.org.

Vision Statement: We are called through baptism to be a welcoming community of faith grounded in worship and prayer, so that we may grow in Christ-like forgiveness and love.

My name is Sam Showalter and I currently serve as the Vice President of the church.  I was born and raised here in Hampton, and I farm with my family in the surrounding area.  My wife Laura and I became members at St. Paul in 2017.  In addition to serving on church council, we have served as confirmation mentors.  We look forward to helping with the ham dinner every year and love to see the teamwork and fellowship by all facets of the congregation.  Outside of church we love to travel and spend time outside with our two basset hounds.
